Inauguration Thanksgiving Concert: Sound of Warsaw

Join us for our inauguration concert and celebrate Thanksgiving with the timeless music of Chopin accompanied by a live orchestra! This special program features piano concertos that celebrate Warsaw, the city that profoundly shaped Chopin’s early life and music. The concert will be conducted by Maestro Grzegorz Nowak, Music Director of Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and Permanent Associate Conductor of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London.

The centerpiece of the program is Chopin’s Piano Concerto in F Minor. He composed and premiered the work in 1830 at the culmination of his youth. Shortly after, Chopin left Poland for Paris. He began working on a third concerto, hoping to perform it in a free Poland. Unfortunately, the failed uprising in Poland resulted in his inability to return.
